Recently, researchers have focused their attention on incorporating sustainability into transportation systems by considering
multiple systems simultaneously. Amekudzi et al. (2009) presented a framework for a sustainability footprint
and a model that would be useful to analyze the effects of transportation and other infrastructure systems on regional sustainable
